TATMIN is a cultural space and a multidisciplinary creative hub located in Rabat, the political and administrative capital of Morocco. Founded five years ago, TATMIN has developed within an urban context marked by a strong concentration of cultural institutions, a dynamic emerging art scene, and a young generation seeking spaces for expression, training, and professional development.
TATMIN’s mission is to support emerging creation and actors in the cultural and creative industries by providing a space for work, experimentation, knowledge-sharing, and exchange between artists, cultural entrepreneurs, and audiences. The project aims to strengthen access to culture, encourage community engagement, and contribute to the development of a more structured and inclusive local creative ecosystem. The hub covers approximately 1000 m² and includes an art gallery, rehearsal and creation spaces, a coworking area, a cultural café, and areas dedicated to training and professional encounters. TATMIN offers a program combining workshops (dance, theatre, photography), artistic works in progress, exhibitions, cultural events, training sessions, and networking activities. Currently engaged in a transformation phase toward becoming a fully operational creative hub, TATMIN places local, national, and international cooperation at the heart of its approach—particularly through its participation in the Mawjaat program—in order to consolidate a sustainable model serving culture, youth, social and cultural transitions in the Mediterranean region.
TATMIN is part of a long-term collaborative dynamic with the french Institute of Morocco, within Mawjaat project but also with the ambition of developing an alternative space for cultural partnerships by offering a more experimental venue, open to young creators and emerging forms of expression.
