Following the introduction to the travel diary, the Mawjaat project continues its graphic narrative with the publication of Chapter 1 devoted to the first workshop held in Tunis in February 2026.
Once again brought to life by the pen of illustrator and graphic designer Jeanne Pierson, this new chapter completes the Mawjaat travel diary, conceived to capture, page after page, the living memory of the project.
This is how Mawjaat tells its own story: in drawings. Beyond the reports that recount the collective’s exchanges step by step, the travel diary chooses line, colour, memory and illustration to capture what unfolds, often off the page, in these encounters between creative hubs and cultural actors : shared inspirations, a doubt spoken out loud, a word that never quite translates from one language to another yet somehow names the challenge ahead. This is the beginning of a travel diary that, chapter after chapter, will gradually sketch the collective portrait of the project.
