Beirut Art Center (BAC) is a leading non-profit contemporary art institution based in Beirut, Lebanon, dedicated to supporting artistic production, critical inquiry, and public engagement in a region marked by political instability, economic collapse, and ongoing social transformation. Founded in 2009, BAC operates as a platform for experimentation, learning, and collective imagination, committed to sustaining artistic practices that respond to urgent local and regional realities while remaining deeply connected to global conversations.

Working within a fragile context defined by recurrent crises, BAC prioritizes care-driven institutional models, long-term support for artists and cultural workers, and the creation of spaces for reflection, dialogue, and gathering.
